RADICAL
2017
RADICAL is a speculative design project. It addresses the tension between profiling through nutrition, food as lifestyle products and status symbols and the time factor in today's capitalist performance society. The project takes nutrition trends to extremes and raises sociopolitical questions such as: What are our eating habits based on? What does food mean today? How important is the act of eating in our society today? What personal data do we disclose for the purpose of self-optimization?
The work was shown in the exhibition TREDECIMTOPIE, a group-exhibition of the masterclass from the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg in April 2017 at Westwerk/Hamburg.
